"Easy Italian Stew"
Ingredients:
1-2 TBS Italian dressing (bottled)
1lb lean ground sausage
2 cans chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can cannelloni beans (rinsed and drained)
I small red onion (cut into strips)
1/2 to 1 red bell pepper (cut into strips)
1/2 to 1 green bell pepper (cut into strips)
1/2 to 1 yellow bell pepper (cut into strips)
1 cup elbow macaroni (whole wheat preferrable)
Parmesan or mozzarella cheese to top
Directions:
Heat dressing in a large saucepan and cook sausage in it breaking sausage into small pieces. Add all ingredients down to macaroni, bring to a boil, add macaroni and simmer 10-12 minutes until macaroni is done. Serve with cheese on top.
